The Gaelean Chronicles: Heroes 4 Hire
The Gaelean Chronicles
Heroes 4 Hire
Our epic story began, as many do, in a small, riverside village. Ours was named Hellespont. Little more than a ‘truck stop’ along The White River, the tiny farming village boasted a huge inn (and tavern to match) that easily handled the large amount of river barge traffic that stopped to layover each night.
But all was not well with the usually peaceful hamlet. Thefts of crop and livestock began plaguing the northern farms. A cave-riddled ravine lay a few miles to the north, and goblinoid shapes were spotted lurking in its surrounds. When several farmers disappeared in the middle of the night, the elder council decided it was time to act.
That is where we came in. We’re the company of adventurers they hired.
We are Heroes 4 Hire.
DM’s Note:
This is a weekly adventure with 7 players who had never played a tabletop RPG before, and has been underway for over three years now. As a guy who was there at the very beginning of D&D in the 70’s, I was happy to get back into the swing of things when my adult children, who had seen Critical Role, approached me about running a game for them.
Okay, this’ll be fun. Fight’s on.
The Gaelean Chronicles: Heroes 4 Hire Comments
Enjoying the story! I myself am again interested in D&D after a 30 year hiatus but there aren’t any campaigns in my area. And I have a lot less free time as a family man than I did as a teen.
Congatulations on winning CotM Nov 2017. Apologies about the late rewarding. Hope all is cool. Please feel free to PM me re modern fighter aircraft if you see fit.

Great looking site only brought to my attention this month. I love the concept too. You might want to think about adding some more imagery to WIKI and Adventure Log entries. Can tend to be a daunting WALL OF TEXT for those outside of your game looking in. However, what works for your team is paramount and it looks like you people are having a load of fun already.
